Bank Feed Status Changes
Post a bank feed load, the current status of the payments and receipt records in a bank feed is indicated with distinct colours.
The meaning of the colours is explained in the table below.
Colour | Meaning |
Incomplete information in the loaded feed record. You are not allowed to import until you provide all necessary information.
All data in the transaction record are correct.
There can be either of the two meanings: The transaction in the bank feed is not allocated or it is already allocated and the allocation details are shown when you move the cursor over the colour.
Potential duplicate transaction identified. |
MTD VAT Returns
From 1 April 2019, HMRC mandates the use of the Making Tax Digital (MTD) service to keep records digitally and use appropriate software to submit VAT returns in the United Kingdom. This means that all VAT-registered businesses with taxable turnover above the VAT threshold will be required to submit VAT returns digitally.
Surf Accounts allows you to digitally file and record your VAT Returns for UK businesses.

Delivery Address on Contacts
When you create a new contact, you can set its delivery address, if applicable.
New Lookup for all Transactions
A new lookup is introduced to all transactions, for example, Sales Invoice, Purchase Invoice, Quotes and Order. Like the earlier lookup, it allows you to select an existing record – a customer name, for example – or add a record on the go. The table below compares the earlier lookup with the current one using a sales invoice.
Previous Lookup | New Lookup |

The report generates the periodic or month-wise profit and loss.

Relative Time Periods as Criteria in Reports
When you generate reports, you can specify a custom date range as a criterion. Now, you can also specify preconfigured time periods, for example, last week, last quarter or last month as date ranges by clicking the icon, available in all reports.
Batch Editing Bank Feed Transactions
After importing bank feeds, you can batch update multiple transactions of the same type. For example, you can batch update multiple payments or receipts.
